2017

On December 9, 2017, author Lyne Gareau and I presented a collection of 150 short stories titled BREF! to Vancouver readers. These 150 word-long texts were published in French by Manitoba’s Les Éditions du Blé to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary. Lyne and I both have four short stories each included in this book, and homage to French writers that live outside of Quebec.
On December 15, 2017, a French publication by the University of St-Boniface in Manitoba presented two imagined folk tales of the West Coast of Canada, one authored by Lyne Gareau and one by me. Mine is titled The Cursed Sailing Ship and takes place in the eighteen century on BC’s shores. You will find it in the Cahiers franco-canadiens de l’Ouest, p545-550.
