Alyssa Koski is an Illustrator, Animator, and Entrepreneur. She specializes in whimsical and narrative based illustration, following the themes of adventure, magic, and belief in the impossible. She works mostly on children’s book illustrations, graphic novels, and short film 2-D animation but also spends a lot of her time organizing local events and pop-up museums to showcase her Grandma's traditional Blackfoot dress collection in her hometown Okotoks. Her work almost always has an upbeat and carefree nature, and she also tries to support issues that are important to her in her work: self-confidence, respect for the environment, the power of imagination, and thirst for knowledge. She graduated from the Alberta College of Art + Design (now Alberta University of the Arts) in Calgary, Alberta with a major in Character Design, was a finalist for the 2022 Governor General Literary Awards, and is a member of the Kainai Nation.

Alyssa Koski est illustratrice, animatrice et entrepreneure. Elle se spécialise dans l’illustration fantaisiste et narrative, suivant les thèmes de l’aventure, de la magie et de la croyance en l’impossible. Elle travaille principalement sur des illustrations de livres pour enfants, des romans graphiques et des courts métrages d'animation 2D, mais passe également une grande partie de son temps à organiser des événements locaux et des musées éphémères pour présenter la collection de robes traditionnelles Pieds-Noirs de sa grand-mère dans sa ville natale d'Okotoks. Son travail est presque toujours de nature optimiste et insouciante, et elle essaie également de soutenir les thèmes qui lui tiennent à cœur dans son travail : la confiance en soi, le respect de l'environnement, le pouvoir de l'imagination et la soif de connaissances. Elle est diplômée de l'Alberta College of Art + Design (aujourd'hui Alberta University of the Arts) à Calgary, en Alberta, avec une spécialisation en conception de personnages, a été finaliste aux Prix littéraires du Gouverneur général 2022 et est membre de la nation Kainai.
